GastroElm Plus Helps Black Lab Rescue With Severe Stomach Issues
Posted by Michael Peterson on
This is a picture of Maxie when I picked him out at rescueme.org. He is the male version of our black lab Sydney who had passed away.

When Maxie came to us, his original owners fed him poor quality kibble and he was very thin. We didn't understand why he would get indigestion early in the morning. We'd give him antacids to make him feel better. We also changed his diet.
He wasn't even 5 yrs old. Being a 24 hour nurse maid to a dog isn't easy when you have to work. We took him to the vet and while we are glad the vet saved his life, he was diagnosed with gastroenteritis which could be fatal if not treated properly.
Unfortunately the medications administered by the vet created symptoms similar to the original disease. It was around this time that I did a lot of research and came up with GastroElm Plus. IT WAS A LIFESAVER!
We put him on the product and he was holding food down again, got his appetite back and gradually improved over time. We have a new naturopathic vet who helped with diet. With the better diet and GastroElm 2x a day, he's completely recovered.
Keep in mind this was originally a rescue dog at a year and a half. With his tummy issues, I have no idea what would've happened to him if we (or whoever adopted him) hadn’t found this product.
We plan to keep him on it for rest of his life. I recommend this product to anyone whose animal has stomach issues.
